You may not get to go immerse yourself for years in a world of primates, but for this topic, try to immerse yourself for at least an hour with a culture or social system that you are not familiar with. Here is the breakdown of your assignment:

Day 1 (today): brainstorm a list of five or so possible subject groups.

Day 2: Go do your hour + of field work, and post some of your notes.

Day 3: Write a brief ethnography of your chosen research group.
